January 4th, 2012 - Friday - Aeon - For a card I don't get very often, this will be the second time in the last couple weeks.  On our journey within, what you finding? Year of the Bear suggests we go within for our answers, but the Aeon says to also learn to witness yourself.  This is the card saying step back, and see yourself from a distance.  This is called witnessing. Learning to see the character you are playing in the drama.  This is like that scene in the Matrix where Neo is being attacked at the very end by Agent Smith, but he's achieved this center of calm, he is relaxed, and just seems detached, and he's so flexible, he can dodge bullets, punches, anything anyone throws at him.  Today is a day of deep breathing, being very present, witnessing, and do some yoga.  Stretch your body and make it more flexible.  Your mind is already there, so follow through with your flesh.

January 3rd, 2013 - Thursday - Victory

January 3rd, 2012 - Thursday - Victory - I am curious how everyone did yesterday with that Reverse Change card.  Did you leap? Or are you going to be 'forced' by the universe to change in a more painful way?  My guess is you jumped full on into the change and accepted it... because you got the Victory card today!  You have broken through and achieved something and need to celebrate today.  Enjoy this day, this small step of success.  You are on the right path.

January 2nd, 2013 - Wednesday - Change

January 2nd, 2012 - Wednesday - Change - Good morning!  Second day of the year of the bear!  Our inward journey begins in earnest with this Charge card reversed.  My friend Suzanne Wagner says this about the card:  "This moment may not come again.  Make a decision and jump or you will miss the opportunity . If you resist change the old reality will be forced to shift in a more painful way."  I find that so interesting because coincidentally I've noticed the pattern of the universe saying the same thing.  Make a decision, go go go.  Even if you are wrong, go make a decision.  The question I have is does this card mean some event 'today' or does it reflect back on the year of the bear?  This is the time to look inward... things are changing... and you have to LET them change.  Go with it.  Big or small, if this is for your year or your day, you'll have to decide, but the story is clear.  Change is coming.  You either go with it, or the change will sweep you up and churl you around.  Looking forward through the year if we see a lot of cards like futility, oppression, ruin, and our good friend the Tower, we'll know we are resisting the change that the Inward  Journey is revealing.  If on the other hand we get cards like Satiety, Sun, Abundance, Love, then we'll know we are letting go, surrendering, and paddling with the current, instead of against it.  A little bit, or a lot of change is in the air.

January 1st, 2013 - Tuesday - The Magus - Bear Dreamer - What a curious card to start the year off with.  A whole new year... and some cards are more important than others.  This is one of those:  The Bear Cave... The Inner Journey of Psychic ability... The journey lies... WITHIN.  This is the year of YOU.  Your inner guidance is the key, not others guidance.  Subtlety, inspiration... depth and height... Forget the outer world this year... look inward.  This is the life long quest inward to the emptiness of no-self within.  There are mentors in the world who can come to help you... but these are distractions... honestly, the inner journey is the true journey.  This is YOUR quest and YOU have the answers.  No one else.  Journey INWARD.  Things are being prepared for you... Get ready and go within so you are ready when the universe manifests.  Have I said it enough?  Face your fears and inner darkness, and claim your own truth as your own.  Peel away the core layers of your soul to the emptiness within.

December 30th, 2012 - Sunday - Aeon - What a strange and complex card this is.  The basic idea is discernment.  Seeing things clearly.  This was a day of trying to see things clearly.  Not entirely sure I succeeded, though it could be something on a very small level.

December 29th, 2012 - Saturday - Satiety

December 29th, 2012 - Saturday - Satiety - A day of sincere saturation and openness.  All the cups flowed and flowed and flowed.  Beautiful.
