January 9th, 2012 - Wednesday - The Moon - This is such a fascinating card to me. In the context of the Year of the Bear, the journey within... and yesterday's card, Queen of Cups. I am not sure the Queen of Cups sifted through to me yesterday. Perhaps it was for someone else, because I sincerely felt like I could never grasp it's energy. This card suggests facing your fears...and you CAN ask for help today. A lot of the Bear Dreamer year is a solo journey, but today a teacher may come along and help. Face the unstable parts of yourself. That part that might have scared you might actually be useful... Your hot temper could be a tool to get you somewhere. Your cool depression could be useful. There is a void out there, the nothingness behind the edges of the universe, and the Moon card is saying go that far. You can face small fears, emotional fears, but the big fear is out there . It is the nothing ness and that is where the Moon is taking you. This card is about moving forward without seeing the end. That is funny, because of a conversation I had with a friend recently about having a clear picture in mind of what you want. But the moon is saying move forward WITHOUT that clear picture. Trust. Faith. Everything is turning against you. This is not the Fool card where you are being 'tempted' and 'called' joyously to jump. This is the Moon, the feminine is testing you by challenging your vision, your hope your faith. Today, everything is working AGAINST you, but you are suppose to still move forward into that void. This is your journey. You alone here . Yes you can ask for help, but this is FOR you. And you might look a little crazy going forward. In fact, you WILL. And everyone will look at you funny. Everyone will think you are crazy. And especially... everyone will think you are WRONG. You aren't. You know what you are doing. Jump into the void. That is my advice.
