November 7th, 2013 - Thursday - Lust - The realms of passion envelop the entire earth; life is like riding a seven headed beast and maintaining some semblance of control, knowing when to let it go and take charge, and knowing when to guide it as best you can.  Let's be honest, you can't tame the beast... but you can work with it and guide it toward opening and loving and service and artful nasty beautiful darkness.  How do you do that? I get the same answer over and over again.  Stillness followed by movement followed by stillness followed by movement...

From yesterday's tower, with ego stripped away, and the old fallen away, and surrender the resulting magic... what comes next?  Passion again.  Lust again.  It's still a sexual world, from clouds to flowers to animals to humans.  Everything is sexual and even with your ego shredded, even virtuous, even open to all that is the flow of fearlessly right action... if you are still alive, passion remains.  This card is calling us to remember that and not think of retreating to the cave or the mountain or the monastery.  We are passionate.  Get out there and love... guiding the beast, nudging the beast, but never trying to control it or tame it or squash it.  No squashing the beast!

November 6th, 2013 - Wednesday - The Tower - Yesterday's Card was the Mars Card: The Tower - The sum of the changes you've gone through, and I've gone through, can be cataloged in the Tower.  A tearing down, a destruction of ego, and opening and a stripping of all that was egoic.  It was painful, hell it still is, but it's right and proper and is the path.  Embrace the Tower.  Open and understand and let the dead sluff off.  The universe will help you.

November 5th, 2013 - Tuesday - Virtue

November 5th, 2013 - Tuesday - Virtue - Short Version - You are on the right track with honesty and integrity.  Keep moving forward.

Long Version: When I pulled his card today it really shook me up.  Not sure why, but the depth of sensation that came saying yes... you ARE on the right path, this is the right thing, you are filled with integrity.  

The dictionary tells us virtue is morality, righteousness, goodness.  Another way of looking at virtue is the combination of five things:  gravity (weight, depth), generosity, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness.  Of these gravity feels the most pertinent today.  Through the journey we've been on to come to this point of depth today, to accept that depth and then give back, feels like it cracked me open.

You know what this is really saying? It's say, yes, you were right, you were clear, you were open, you were honest... or in other words, yes, you were doing the indicated thing, you were in the flow of right action, and now... give FROM THAT POSITION.  

That is the part I think that gets me.  That chokes me up.  Giving from a position of right action, integrity, indication.  By being in alignment you are correct and have that much more energy to give the tasks and gifts at hand.

Today... find ways to be generous with your gifts.  It is what is suppose to happen.  This is correct.

November 4th, 2013 - Monday - Oppression

November 4th, 2013 - Monday - Oppression - Last week was one of the most amazing weeks of energy I've ever experience in the Tarot.  The path of the cards were so on that it created an opening in me that was amazing, building confidence and trust.  It ended Sunday with Strength!  But Sunday is not just the ending of the weekend, it's the start of the next one, and so Strength was the result and Strength will be needed.

In this open trusting day we get Oppression for Monday!  What a weird energy difference from last week, and yet... somehow utterly perfect. Let's dive into Oppression today!  

The first thing we want to look at are the Astrological Implications.  Saturn and Sagittarius.  Struggle and Mutable first suggests energy is suppressed.  First thing out of the gate this suggest to me that movement is in order.  Nothing like MOVING the body to get some energy out.  To get it unstuck.  Whatever way you feel right doing this, do it.  Obviously, it's Monday, you are at work, and that is not perfect for movement (well, us fools with desk jobs).  So movement will be the first thing to offer you.

Next... Oppression suggest that we've held ourselves back.  Is it always ourselves doing the holding?  Usually it is.  But it COULD be someone else holding us back.  I feel confident from last week so I'm pretty sure it's about me holding myself back.  And what happens when you hold yourself back?  Stuff the energy down and it twists and turns.  Feelings buried alive never die....

What does this suggest?  Revolution!  Yes, revolt against the oppressors!  You got the energy, and it's going to blow out somehow some way.  Remember the Lust card Saturday?  So MUCH power!  You need to let it go, but also guide it CAREFULLY.  Today, you have energy again, and it's built up and it's going to fucking explode if you don't watch it.  That's why you have to listen to your little bastard.  That voice inside the incites rebellion.  This isn't about being selfish. This is about the fact that you have been  oppressed, and you need to fix it and let out your goddamn genius or you are going to explode sideways.  It's time to foment and exercise rebellion!  Fight against the powers that be (your own egoic fear based parts that are holding you down) or other people who are holding you down.  

We need to discuss why you feel Oppressed.  Look... their are REASONS.  Someone probably screwed you over and they were really mean to you.  Some BAD things happened.  It's real. They are real. You have a good reason to be oppressed.  You didn't make it up.  But... SO WHAT?  Right?  Yes!  So what.  It's time to stop using the past as a leverage to stop you.   It's time to forgive yourself, others and move on.

This is such a rich zone of movement for me and the patters are saying it over and over again.  Yes... someone wronged you. (I know who wronged me!).  And damn... I need to forgive, forget, and move on.  Love openness... it's all there.  This is the perfect card today.  The absolute perfect card.

It's time to move on folks.  It's time to really move on.  And here's how we move on:  We MOVE.  Literally.  We move on through action.  I know that might not make sense, but I need you to sit with this and figure it out.  Sit and thing about where you are holding back, and then do this: Consider how you can MOVE in a way that shows you are putting it behind you.  You have the energy.  Someone put you down, and you are now holding yourself back.  You have a little bastard in your head, us her or him.  Forgive the person, and then demonstrably MOVE on.  This card is perfect.  This card is magical.  This card is giving you permission to revolt.  More than permission, it's encouraging it!

SMILE!  Be careful, take the 7 headed beast and guide it powerfully where it's intended to go.  Nothing wrong with sexuality at all... EVERYTHING is sexual... it's the realm of Duality.  Today give in to it, but watch it at the same time.  Ease back and forth through surrender and gentle guidance on the reins.

November 1st, 2013 - Friday - Prudence - The absolute perfect card for this week of discernment and flow. The flow is happening. Autumn is here, leaves fall, and winter is coming. It's natural, it's what is. It will be followed by spring, then summer. Babies are born, people die. The sun rises, the sun sets. The story is going forward, and your intuitions and discernment is correct... It will lay out as you feel it will, but it takes letting it happen. Rivers run. You don't need to bother with them. So meanwhile, get to work on your purpose. Get to work on what you need to do and what you feel is right. That other thing? Oh... it WILL take care of itself. It is assured. Just don't worry about it, focus on your work and let it happen.
