June 28th, 2013 - Friday - Prayer - Oppression - As I shuffled the cards I prayed for the thing I want most in the world: To wake up.  To grow up.  To become a Human Adult.  I see clearly and then to act clearly.  The Sun card flipped out... the biggest yes.  I put it back in the deck, continued to shuffle, and then pulled... Oppression Reversed!!!

The universe has a sense of humor, but it also is saying something:  It is warning you that while you are sincere in your prayer to wake up and see clearly... see this: Your desire to wake up is going to stir some serious anger.  Being kept in the dark can piss you off.  And that is good. When you realize you aren't awake, you are fake, a piece of shit, you get up and get pissed and do something about it.  Channel this anger, if it is against you.   You are triggering it by waking up.  The ducks on the pond don't want you to fly away.  They want you to sit in the pig pen with them and shit all over the place and wallow.  Use your anger!  Feel it!  Let it flow through you!

Really... let it out.  Let it out... kill the ego.  Journey to freedom.

Temptation!

Someone or something is tempting you into the sexual realm of polarity... and a part of you wants to play...because you want to be wanted... you want to be desired...but self worth doesn't come from someone wanting to have sex with you...

Changing lanes... the game gets deeper... sex is chicken feed... this is about power... someone is dangling some power in your face...  Would you like a little control... ?  Would you?  Satan manipulates people to get what he wants... you can do the same... a few careful words here or there and you get what you want...

So we've said to before... this card isn't really a bad card.  Everyone wants physical fulfillment  emotional fulfillment, and power.  That's normal.  We Daily Tarot folks embrace our shadows because we know that the centuries old church doctrine of shoving it down and not dealing with it doesn't work...

So as your lust for sex, love, and power comes up... play with it!  Yes!  Play!  Sure, the devil is telling you CAREFUL!  GOOD GOD!  But open to it. Go through temptation.  Otherwise you get stuck on sex, or love, or power.  And that makes you a miserable servant and a pretty boring villain / victim.

Don't be boring.  Deal with your shadow today by softening your heart and looking at it with open deep breath.  That's a great place to start with your shadow:  Breath.
