September 26th, 2014 - Friday - Strength - After a hiatus we return this Friday with the Strength card.  Take your inner strength, kindle it to a white hot fire, and pursue what you know is your inner most truth. Today it's time to flex your muscles going into a deep weekend. You will find a depth of strength you never knew you had.

August 29th, 2014 - Friday - Prince of Disks - God Form of Asherah - Masculine vs. Feminine inside you!  

And on a Friday!

I was speaking with my son today about the subtle energies around us.  One day he's up, the other down, tired, then energetic, etc.  All sorts of energies flow through us and each day is different.  Today's masculine focus and concentration is being challenged...

And that's okay. It's just what is happening today.  The answer is to relax...and know that your not going to be your sharpest in the mental concentration department today. 

Asherah is the Goddess of Nothing... once the wife of the Jewish God Yahweh, she was eventually 'disappeared' when monotheism took over and Jehovah stepped up as the one and only God.  But in recent times she's been 'rediscovered'.  Where Jehovah became the God of Everything, Asherah became the Goddess of Nothing, meaning she is way more versatile.  She's the anti-masculine, the woman in all of us, and she fights right up against the Prince of Disks today!

The message? Let her win.  Relax.  Flow.  Skip.  Sing.  Wear something different today. When your eyes hurt staring at the computer screen... turn the computer off and go do something else.  It's that simple.  Hell it's Friday... let it all go.  You are in Asherah's hands today...

August 27th, 2014 - Wednesday - Hanged Man - Out of suffering comes... what?  Apophenia blesses us to see the connections in our suffering, telling us a bigger story.  Consider the isolated vision of Christ on the cross, suffering... for what?  Step back, see the connections, look at how suffering begins to reveal purpose.  Look to your suffering today... but take a step back and see it from a distance.  Apophenia will bless you to see the meanings in even the most cruel moments of your life if you let her.  This a brave thing to try... but dive deep today.

August 26th, 2014 - Tuesday - Swiftness - Today as I consider the 'communication' card, I can't forget that last night was the new moon.  There is something special about the new moon, the powerful full dark brooding mistress of the night sky... I can feel her even though I can't see her.  When communicating today, think about that.  Reach deeper and bring a hidden depth to your words.  Even if you are talking what we might all consider a very surface type of way (in business, at the store, on the phone with a credit card representative), practice giving a little 'hidden moon' depth to your words.  

How can you give a little extra today to everyone you meet? This is something so subtle, so refined, most people won't even feel it... but give it anyway. Of such refinements are depth made of and life more fully surrendered and ferociously entered into.

Get down on the floor in child's pose- legs folded up underneath you and forehead on the floor. Feels good, doesn't it?

Now, adjust your head so that you are facing forward and your chin is on the floor. All the weight of your skull on your pointy little chin instead of your smooth, strong forehead. That...... tight uncomfortable gritting energy exemplifies the difference between your will and the universal flow.

Release the stranglehold that your will can impose on life, love, desire, and freedom and begin living your right and proper life.
