August 31st - The Devil

So I took a week off for the David Deida intensive in Ojai, but I am back and today's card is The Devil:

I am easily being tempted by sex, money, and pleasure.

Did that sound like today? It did. I just came back from a beautiful practice in Ojai for 5 days, that was just so fucking awesome, and today I was tempted by the devil to REENTER the world of figits, anger, people, and the world. This card was right on for the day.

Tuesday, August 24th - Queen of Disks

Todays card is the Virgo card, the Queen of Disks. Today I need to take care of myself and do some playing. I don't think this is just for the day either. It is for the week. As I go into the intensive, it is time to see what I really want to be doing with my life, and to create my dreams. This is what the week is about, so this card is very good. There is a mother energy here that you apply to yourself. I take care of myself, my dreams etc, with the same nurturing power that a mother does to her children. This is the feminine power... the flow of water, in the EARTH. This is powerful deep water power. Earth Water Power. Get deep into your soul into your BODY. This is the deep power of home, motherhood and earth stability IN THE FEMININE. I can't wait for the rest of the week!

BTW - I won't be posting the rest of the week as I will be at the David Deida intensive Wed-Sunday. I get back Monday, but will not pull a card that day most likely. So you will see me again in 1 week! Tuesday morning! Be there!

Monday, August 23rd, 2010 - Fortune

Today I got the Fortune card. I got this card a lot in yesterday's class. It is a change of fortune . Generally good. Things are changing. Saw a lot of this card yesterday. It has a wheel with a sphinx, a monkey, and a crocodile on it. Lots of stars. This card suggests that while change is coming... you can be the catalyst of it. You can TAKE A RISK. Make a plan. Jump. It is the essence of the wheel. Things are turning, and it's time to jump on. There is not always a sure knowledge of where you are going to end up, but you do it. Similar in ways to the Fool. It is time to make a decision. This card is saying it may feel like a risk, but you are actually safe. The universe WANTS you to change here. I just need to JUMP. Be willing to change. I look at this card and see changing coming, but I also see that you have to be willing. Fear will be there, ego, all that crap ,but you have the opportunity to do something, and today, this card says, go for it!
