November 30th, 2010 - Tuesday - Princess of Swords

Good morning! It's definitely winter now. Cold as hell here in Utah. Some really bitter temperatures for November. Today we pulled the Princess of Swords. Swords are always in your mind, so right off the bat that's not necessarily a good thing. The Princess is a Court Card, which means it represents people. So today this card could refer to OTHER people in your life, or it could refer to aspects of yourself. You'll have to breathe into that to figure it out, and/or just watch and see. The Princess of Swords often takes on too much. She over extends. She tries to do everything. So look at the person in your life today who does too much, and over extends . That person... might be you.

November 29th, 2010 - Monday - Strength

Good morning! December and Christmas are right around the corner! Today we got the 9 of wands, the Strength Card. Right side up, it means I have the strength to continue. Energy is moving in my direction. Upside down says I have strength in some areas, weakness in others, and my strength comes in my ability to ADAPT to things today.

So today, consider that when i hit something I feel I can't do, or I get tired, or feel the energy move against me... I should not give up. I just need to shift a little to the left or to the right, and I will be able to get back into the flow of right action and get what I need finished.

November 27th, 2010 - Saturday - Knight of Cups

Today, on Saturday, make sure you don't fall into addictions. This card came upside down. normally it would denote the idea of a spiritual journey, seeking some emotional fulfillment, but upside down it warns of addictions and pursuing dreams that aren't grounded or authentic. I think even though I pulled the card upside down, that the true reading for Saturday is right side up. I can feel that.

November 26th, 2010 - Friday - Worry

This came upside down today. I am worrying to the point of getting sick. Work on yourself first. Things are unstable beneath, and the solution is to work on yourself first.

November 25th 2010 - Thursday - The Emperor

Aries Card for Thanksgiving! Upside down though! Means I may not be standing up for what I believe, or I may have a need to be right. Do I have any unresolved issues with my father? Or my kids? Or with someone of authority? At work?I may feel inadequate with the challenges. What reality have I chosen that I need to unchoose?

November 24th, 2010 - Wednesday - The Hanged Man

Lot of repeats here . The Hanged Man, upside down too! Angels of Suffering and Struggle. Feeling trapped by circumstances. Emotions are torturing the soul. Let go of your old mindset. Moving deeper into your shadow. This is good, but you are bound up and stuck. Let it out. Time to make some internal changes to do with your shadow.

So ask myself, what am I not letting go? Reversed I'm holding onto something. A belief? A job? A relationship? I am willing to SUFFER greatly to hold onto something that I shouldn't. This could very well be my brother, and I need to man up, and let that relationship really go. I am willing to go into a bad relationship with someone who will only hurt me just to get a recipe.

How much misery am I willing to put up with in that relationship? In my job? In my beliefs? Suffering is caused by our unwillingness to adapt to the changing circumstances. It takes energy to stay stuck. Believe in yourself. Believe in ME. I must believe in myself. The theme that constantly hits me. Believing in myself. FREEDOM AND ENERGY will result.

How does the MIND cause this suffering? Ego wants to stop my surrender. The creative side of my shadow needs to come out. Thank you Ego! But we don't need to hold onto this one. We can let it go!

POWER!! It's fun to say Power, no? The short information on this card is this: You have accomplished a great deal and you are learning about power and responsibility. Okay, what does that mean for you though? This is a Sun Capricorn card. There is illumination inside of you, so you are feeling more and more powerful. This is a good thing. It's like having confidence. So today should just naturally be a day of confidence in yourself. Remember, this is just for today, so it might be small, it might be subtle. This confidence also means strength of character, and integrity. It's a GOOD power. So today, become aware of your confidence, your integrity, and... USE IT. Look to where you want to control others and fulfill your own needs. You probably should take a break from controlling others today, just observe them and watch. Don't get to worried about others, or your own needs . If you feel a need, watch it, observe it, pay attention to it, but don't give in to it and for sure as hell don't push someone else into fulfilling your need. If you need attention and someone walks in the room, observe your need and smile through it, but don't engage them with egoic bullshit to try and get them to pay attention to you. And if they do pay attention, just relax and see through THAT as well!

I got this upside down today, so that means Energy is moving against me at the time. Why is it moving against me? I don't know. But it did, and I was relaxed into it.

On a daily basis it might just mean you need to learn a small little skill at work, and that you shouldn't avoid it. In a bigger life spread, it might mean some bigger skills and actions need to be learned. In the life spread, this is the place where you need to learn skills. As a fool, you jumped off the cliff to get things going. Now you need to learn some stuff. You are committed, but now gets some skills. That is a great way of looking at it.
