February 26th, 2011 - Saturday - Fortune
Today we got the Fortune card! It was upside down, and that tells that we want something (really, who doesn't?) but the timing is off right now. That is interesting. Do you stop... and let it go, or do you keep fighting and burning for that want? Remember the Prince yesterday, how you are too driven. Maybe you SHOULD be too driven. Maybe you should want it and want it now. Interesting ideas to play with. The universe is trying to help you. It doesn't always seem that way, I know, and sometimes it seems way off and stupid in the way it's doing it, but it DOES know what's it doing.
Physically the card means change, moving, doing something different. Emotionally it means creative ideas coming to life. The card is another ENERGY card, so that your internal dream is now energized toward manifestation. Passion is in alignment with knowledge. Energy in alignment with matter. Strength, power, wildness, humor, steadiness, consistency. Put it all together and change and take a risk. Spiritually it is about surrender. Most of life is. Spiritually you can receive more than you ever dared. Open to new ways of being, perceiving, and experiencing. The universe is going to show you new ways to see today.
The Fortune Card is the wheel. It's time to make a choice, make your bet, spin the wheel and go for it. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. CHANGE. Do something different. At this point with this card... change is good. That's the key point to understand. Do something different. It WILL be good. Align with your dreams and send a clear message to the universe (in the only way the universe understand messages) to let you create something effortlessly this time. Learn to to turn the energy of fear... that churning in your gut, into spontaneousness excitement. Every time you are afraid you suddenly get excited too! New things are happening! Then life is a great adventurous game. Fear is the worst. Ug. Turn fear into adventure!
So we got it reversed, so let's take a look at what that means. Could the timing be off? So instead of looking at this reversed as saying maybe you aren't ready, look at it as, let's make sure we ARE ready. Most of the change is just getting ready inside. If you want to manifest money, or your dreams... then you have to be ready. So here are some great questions to ask yourself:
Do you have the skills you think you possess? - Good question. If you are changing to do a new job, can you actually do it? Not a bad question.
Is this what you REALLY want to do? That's another question. It has to come from the gut. If I teach anything in life it is finding and following your deepest gut level consistent intuitions. So take some time to breath this down into you stomach, penis, or vagina (as the case may be.)
Is this change just and escape from something in life? - Well usually the change IS an escape, you want something different, but the question might be are you escaping from something you SHOULD stay around for. Good question.
Could you be searching for a quick fix? Good question. Let things take their proper time. I'm probably guilty here.
What parts are no in agreement inside of you? If there are any parts that are still not sure, root them out with a knife, cut them out of ourselves.

February 25th, 2011 - Friday - Prince of Cups
So ask yourself today a question. What is driving you? What is your motivation? I was recently asked this in a book I read, and I had to pause. To think about why the hell we do things? As an author of fiction, I often look at the motivations of my characters. Why do the things they do? And more importantly, why do *I* do the things I do? This card is suggesting that TODAY, you are probably a little over driven, mostly sexually, but it can be in other areas, and that your drive to get what you want is going to pave over some people. So ask yourself, why do you want what you want, and be careful of not driving a steamroller over people.
Then again, sometimes you have to drive right over things to get what you want. I mean, sometimes you just have to move forward with all crazy determination and PURITY OF INTENT. Sometimes that means bulldozing people over.
Bet you never thought you would hear THAT from a card reading! (grin) This is a great card today. Harness your emotional and sexual energy and get something done. Yes... be careful not to hurt someone, no use creating bad karma, but hey, this is some energy to get it done. That's not entirely bad!

The angel of new love. New Love! But we got this upside down, which tells us things might NOT be what they seem. How do they seem? It seems rocky right now. Maybe it's not? Or maybe love is short lived. Enjoy the rush the card is giving you... but use it to CHANGE yourself. To move out of the stuck problem. The card reversed is attempting to tell you that there are other ways to do something and other options that you are unwilling to look at until you felt safe and loved. (Which I don't feel right now, so that's perfect!) I am being opened to NEW possibilities! Open you heart. It is time to look at where you are not being fulfilled in the ways of love. Armed with this information, take charge, and make some changes in your life!

Today the MIND could be interfering with the expansion of the soul. This is good information to know, because you can relax a little and just be a bit more observant. Check out how the mind complicates things . Put your thoughts down on paper, analyze them or leave them for later, and stay on target with manifesting your true wants. Let go of the details, and expand into what your soul wants.
We got it reversed this morning, so that means our mind is distracting us from the truth. Your mind is not your friend. Your mind has LIED to you... makes shit up all the time, and loves loves loves to exaggerate your weaknesses. Not to mention just hides your strengths and growth. Reversed this also means you could be interfered with EXTERNALLY. So someone is probably going to give you a headache today in the realm of THINKING. Other people's dramas, people putting you down, attacking you, trying to interfere with your manifesting of your desire.
