March 29th, 2013 - Friday - Valor -  The Valor card tells us we have been fighting the good fight but we're just worn out . More so on a Friday, yes?  Your bones are aching, your mind is a swirl.  How can you do anything in this mode?  Very difficult.  Try writing things out.  Making plans.  Taking things in little chunks.  Have a plan going into the day and evening, know your limits, write them down, and stick to them.  You probably won't do your best thinking here, but there is something good and stretching about giving what you got left in the tank even though you are exhausted.  Sometimes genius can result, and emotional release will be your reward.

On another note, did you know I sell 72 Hour Kits and Long Term Food Storage?  The Company name is Disasternecessities.   I know, it's kind of weird.  I'm in the disaster prep industry.  It started as a small side business but has grown.  The practicality of being ready for a disaster is proving itself over and over again.  I mention it because the valour cards is all about being prepared.  It's not saying there is a crisis coming like The Tower card would, but it's saying be prepared for when you are weak, tired, worn out, confused.

We are ending this month with a doozy for the card of the week. This month has been all about the hustle involved in letting your gifts grow in the world, however, this week is feeling quite crunchy and painful. There is more of yourself to be given and allowed to grace the world. You can feel this in your very core. But there is a limitation of the mind and ego that is preventing your true authenticity from coming forth. Truly working with your gifts and passion in the physical realm tends to bring up every last fear and insecurity you have, and this week you are feeling it. You are feeling the ways in which you box yourself in even though you know you are capable of so much more. Trust in your internal wisdom. Break out of the mold only you confine yourself to, and realize that it is fear that keeps you from what you desire in your deepest heart.

As we step into the week of duality (The Lovers card) we are not being too honest about our true feelings. We are putting up a front, slapping on our glossy lipstick smile so that we do not have to deal with the fallout from our true feelings. There is a storm underneath the smile. Perhaps it is just what we need to do in order to get through this day, but it does indicate that something needs to be addressed in the long run. My advice? I am so glad you asked. :) Do what you need to do in the moment. It may not serve to meltdown at this particular time. But this evening, create some space for yourself to laugh, cry, and scream so that you can move this energy through your body as you start your week.

The final day of breakdown in the Tower week. This card is meaningful to me today because my daughter literally broke her ankle a few hours ago. Today there is going to be breakdown on the physical plane. That doesn't necessarily have to mean body, it can mean money, work, and/or  home and hearth. This makes sense being that the overriding card this week was the Tower- a card of healing crisis and transformation. Perhaps this card is allowing you to shake off the last vestiges of the weeks trials and tribulations. Perhaps this card is signifying you are still holding onto something that needs to be let go so the Universe is creating a breakdown in order to push you into your next phase. Either way, take care of yourself today and let the things go that no longer serve.

How apropos......last week was the tumult of the Tower card and this week is a week to step out of the ashes into what is truly intended. This week you will be gaining a certain level of discernment about what is going on around you. You are incorporating information on a deeper level that had once resided purely in your head. This allows more range of intuition and more capacity to follow your instincts instead of whirling around in your mind trying to find a foothold.
The other aspect of this card is on the physical plane. As we slowly begin to approach a change in season our bodily discernment is awakened.
