April 16th, 2013 - Tuesday - Death - Nothing like the day you were born to pull the Death Card... As I claw and tear my way through this life, this card reminds me as so many signs and portents and prophecies constantly remind me: The ultimate game is surrender... infinite intelligence knows what it's doing... let go... let go... sink down into the earth and finally let go of all the bullshit and embrace the ultimate... give your passion, let your beastly gifts free upon the world, and never apologize. Death sits on my left shoulder and smiles at me.... I smile back. Sluffing off layers and layers, they fall away to reveal love. Death grins, and I grin back. He's got it all figured out.
