June 28th, 2013 - Friday - Prayer - Oppression - As I shuffled the cards I prayed for the thing I want most in the world: To wake up.  To grow up.  To become a Human Adult.  I see clearly and then to act clearly.  The Sun card flipped out... the biggest yes.  I put it back in the deck, continued to shuffle, and then pulled... Oppression Reversed!!!

The universe has a sense of humor, but it also is saying something:  It is warning you that while you are sincere in your prayer to wake up and see clearly... see this: Your desire to wake up is going to stir some serious anger.  Being kept in the dark can piss you off.  And that is good. When you realize you aren't awake, you are fake, a piece of shit, you get up and get pissed and do something about it.  Channel this anger, if it is against you.   You are triggering it by waking up.  The ducks on the pond don't want you to fly away.  They want you to sit in the pig pen with them and shit all over the place and wallow.  Use your anger!  Feel it!  Let it flow through you!

Really... let it out.  Let it out... kill the ego.  Journey to freedom.

Someone or something is tempting you into the sexual realm of polarity... and a part of you wants to play...because you want to be wanted... you want to be desired...but self worth doesn't come from someone wanting to have sex with you...

Changing lanes... the game gets deeper... sex is chicken feed... this is about power... someone is dangling some power in your face...  Would you like a little control... ?  Would you?  Satan manipulates people to get what he wants... you can do the same... a few careful words here or there and you get what you want...

So we've said to before... this card isn't really a bad card.  Everyone wants physical fulfillment  emotional fulfillment, and power.  That's normal.  We Daily Tarot folks embrace our shadows because we know that the centuries old church doctrine of shoving it down and not dealing with it doesn't work...

So as your lust for sex, love, and power comes up... play with it!  Yes!  Play!  Sure, the devil is telling you CAREFUL!  GOOD GOD!  But open to it. Go through temptation.  Otherwise you get stuck on sex, or love, or power.  And that makes you a miserable servant and a pretty boring villain / victim.

Don't be boring.  Deal with your shadow today by softening your heart and looking at it with open deep breath.  That's a great place to start with your shadow:  Breath.

What is the crazy lesson today?  Well what the card says on the surface is that you are heading for a breakdown... you are becoming an escapist... truth is something you aren't willing to see...
Your body could break down.   This is breakdown point.

And what do I say?  Good.  BREAK DOWN . Break completely.  Face the truth.  The truth of something you don't like, that is scary:  Face your fear... and let go.  Stop fighting.

June 11th, 2013 - Tuesday - Princess of Swords - Good morning!  Tuesday is here, it's windy in Heber, and I hate the wind.  What is going on with this card?  Lots of stuff in the mind going on here, but the big thing being communicated to you today, is this: You are addicted to drama.  

It's possible we've failed at something... we've really blown it.  It's really our fault today... and we just don't want to admit it.  Maybe someone did something that really pissed us off, got us good and roiling angry, and we have to admit that what they did might have been bad, but it is our fault because we didn't lay out clear boundaries.  Not wanting to admit our failure, we just jump into the fray and fight and go drama on their ass!

So you've made some poor choices... and you need to just admit it.  Why not?  Because you WANT something, right? You really want MONEY.  Or something else, and until you accept responsibility for yourself you aren't going to get it.  DAMN!  It's not the universe stopping you, it's YOU.  This is an energy block.

Look, there is someone out there right now ready to write you a check for $90,000,000.00 dollars.  You want it... You GOT it. Here it is. No messing around.  Your millions are THERE.  The pen is ready to hit the paper.

But you keep blaming other people!

June 8th, 2013 - Saturday - Debauch - Well...well... well... this would suggest someone didn't listen to yesterday's warning not to get too deep in the pleasure... deep... deeper... stuck.  Stuck in the swamp.

Sometimes we just get stuck, and it's best to just see it and accept it.  Today the angels are saying yep, you might be stuck, and if you stayed this way, it would be unhealthy, and you would eventually need help... but you aren't going to stay this way.

So today, Saturday, get stuck and enjoy it.  It's kind of like living on a razor's edge.  You had so much pleasure and you want more... your body may hit it's limits today... enjoy feeling those limits and enjoy this weird stuck swampy sticky sick feeling.

Sometimes the cards are vague, and you have to suss them out, but sometimes they are as clear as can be and this is a clear warning for a Friday night!

What this is telling you is this: You might be seeking an escape tonight.  A release of control and responsibility.

June 4th, 2013 - Tuesday - The Universe - Yesterday we spoke of Death... and entertained the concept of Memento Mori:

The concept means to live each day as if it were your last.  To have absolutely no fear of death. To really embrace death so that we can fully live.  I don't know about you, but in my life lately I've been very clear about getting what I want.  I'm tired of 'compromising'.  I want what I want.  I am 100% sure that I want the 'right' things, and so I'm going for it.  And I'm riding death to that ultimate conclusion.  I want to live my right and proper life... NOW.  I don't want to live another day of compromise.

The Universe card in the Aleister Crowley and Lady Freida Harris Thoth Tarot card deck is a major completion, a resolution.  Something is coming to an end...  You have succeeded.  The last few pieces have come together and it now makes sense.  Pressing with consciousness into your purpose, wanting what you want with a PRESS.  There is utter surrender and bliss in this pressing, you expanded.

So what does this completion mean to you and what do you do with it?  You have worked hard. And now... the old job is done.  You are going to get what you want.  That can be really exciting. All the hard work... all the sweat and tears and pain... are going to pay off today.

The old is passing, the new is coming... and you are ready for it.  You want it... you receive it fully...  There was a book years ago by Shakti Gawain, called Creative Visualization.  

One of the things she talks about is the final step, the completion, which is receiving fully what you want.  The Universe Card is telling you it's time to RECEIVE.  Open and recieve the money and success you have correctly wanted by pressing into it.  

This is a 'kind' of death in your journey, the end of one thing... and the start of another.  It's time to pop the Champagne and CELEBRATE!

Remember that you must die...

Today's card reminds you to live as if death were already here.... Og Mandino wrote a book called The Greatest Salesmen in the World:

In it, one the scrolls the character finds is entitled: I will Live this Day as if it were my Last.

If you've been reading the blog for a while you know we talk a lot about death.  The little bastard rides on my shoulder, and informs me each day, each moment, that this could be my last.  The little bastard takes time out of his day to murder my egoic little attachments along the way.  He's really my best friend.  Without death, life would last forever, but worse, I would squander it.  With Death I have a knife that cuts away the dross and frees me to serve the pattern with the fullest of freedom.

Death IS freedom...  no matter how bad it gets... death is the check out card.  No matter how bad life gets... it WILL end... 

And today you can live life as if it were your last.  You can rest easy, you can burn away what holds you back.  How much longer are you going to send your wife off to work when she needs to stay home? How much longer are you going to waste away your day selling fear on the internet?  

How much longer are you going to accept not living your right and proper life...

How much longer are you going to let life mock you and tell you lies: Well... you HAVE to go to work... you need money....
