Today is the day to take the risk you have been contemplating. You know what I am talking about....... That change, shift, outreach, communication, jump, or turn you have been staring at for weeks, months, maybe years. You have sized it up as much as you are going to be able. You have scrutinized and examined, but you are not truly going to know the outcome until you move.

The good news is that fortune is in your favor today. You have a window of time to make your change. It does not mean it will be challenge-free but you have learned enough over time that you can identify where the hooks and the deception may lie in this transformation . You will not understand the full landscape, complete with pitfalls, until you make the change. But movement is better than no movement at this point in time.

The archetype assisting us today is the Underworld Goddess, Hecate. Hecate is commonly seen in her triple form of Maiden, Mother, and Crone.

Maiden  represents the power of sexual energy. Mother represents the power of reproduction and the secret knowledge it bestows upon those who create and give birth to something new. And Crone represents esoteric knowledge and magic.

As you turn the wheel of fortune today you will need to tap into all aspects of yourself and a multitude of energy sources. Sexual energy is extremely powerful and is a primal driver for the life we live on this earth. Tap into your root and sacral power centers to cultivate the energy needed to shift. This is the volcanic eruption needed to start the wheel in motion.

Use your deep desire for creating this shift to sustain motion as you encounter challenges and obstacles. Use your heart-rending yearning to cultivate and birth this change into a reality.

And lastly, dip into the magical knowing you have about yourself and this shift. When you get quiet and can unhook from fear you will see that you have a wisdom that is unparalleled when it comes to the universe you are creating.

And as with any Underworld Goddess, Hecate also reminds us that to provide the space for new energy (life force) we must let certain aspects die- old fears, habitual stuckness, unhealthy relationships, corrosive emotional imprints.

And last, but not least, Hecate is also associated with witches and witchcraft. You may find yourself in need of your coven as you traverse this metamorphosis. Don't be afraid to reach out to those that can help usher you through with their own unique life force energy, creative genius, and peculiar magical knowledge.
