November 15th, 2013 - Friday - Hierophant - Interesting card to end the week on... spiritual father and earth energy Taurus. This is the culture of our current spirituality in this world. And we are definitely in conflict with our normal cultural norms. The All Father would not be pleased. What are you going to do? Are you rebelling against religion? Fine says I. But are you rebelling against your own inner voice? Not so wise... The problem is our culture has imprinted upon us so much junk, the ideas of what is right and wrong, that we are shadowed and caped and covered with it. What is beneath all that? Take away the spiritual trappings and what do you have left? What is right for you is the only thing that matters. Sifting through our connections and attachments can be endless. Is their a knife I can cut through this fog with? Well damn there is! It's called asking for help. The morass is too think. We can't see ourselves from our culture from our religion. Ask and ye shall receive. Make a ritual out of it, be sparky, and be humble, but be serious. What is true for you? Ask it. Big bold and boisterous if necessary. Ask what is true for you without all the junk of your life in the way. Make a day of it.
