March 18th, 2014 ~ Tuesday ~ Works ~

It is a glorious Tuesday and we have pulled the Works card. If you recall, the Works card is also the card of the week so my guess is that today may feel a bit intense in the area of slow forward progress......maddeningly, slow, forward progress.

The Works card indicates you are building a foundation in some area of your life this week and it feels like you are wading through sludge, but do not give up. Whether it be an internal blah slowing your progress, a co-worker, or a fur ball lovingly deposited on your interview clothes, persist in your forward movement and you will create a strong base on which to place your next building blocks.

The animal totem today is the lovely Blue Jay. The Blue Jay serves as a reminder that as we build our foundations we need to make proper choices in regards to power and integrity. It can be frustrating when our plans are slowed, but do not allow yourself to become unhinged. The Blue Jay is a highly vocal bird and can wreak havoc in an environment with it's confusing chatter. Do not allow yourself or others to be distracted from your goal by unnecessary yammering or complaining.

On the flip side, the Blue Jay is also a genius at warning other animals of predators in the vicinity. This aspect may come in handy this week as you may be able to uncover potential internal and/or external saboteurs to your carefully laid plans.
