The card of the weekend, Princess of Disks, is a great card to round out our week of Indolence. This card is telling us that we must tap into a deeper source in order to create something new in our world. She is telling us that at this moment in time our energy should be focused downward like a woody root searching for that cool subterranean flow. Now is the time to breathe into your 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras and feel what comes up, comes loose, is released. Find time and space this weekend to delve into what is truly moving through your body and then allow it to take shape or have a voice or move you in a way that allows you to work with this energy as opposed to against it. You never know what you will find when you bring sustained focus into the depths of your body. It could be grief, it could be anger, it could be joy or yearning. Whatever you unearth, allow it to come into the light of day so that you can not only see it and feel it, but you can also use it as an ally to shapeshift closer to your authentic self.

The Raven is our guide on this dark journey. The Raven is the magician, the shapeshifter, and the reminder to bring things hidden in the dark into the light. Raven is highly intelligent and curious, and does not shy away from darkness but instead moves within it with an unrivaled elegance. There is nothing to be afraid of here in the dark, and nothing that can't be brought into the light and transformed if you are really willing to take a good, hard look.
